Welcome to PlayMaker Athletics, where fitness and learning meets fun! We are a premier indoor sports facility dedicated to providing a vibrant and welcoming environment for those desiring to sharpen their skills and put in work. The founders, William (Wills) Wassey and Jordan Spigner share a passion for sports, learning and teaching others.  They each have over 20 years of experience managing, coaching and teaching young athletes in an array of sports.

At PlayMaker Athletics, we understand the importance of staying active and healthy while focusing on the development of desired skills, which is why we offer a wide range of training opportunities. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete, a young athlete or someone just looking to try something new, our facility has something to offer. Our goal is to strive to create an optimal environment for you to achieve your fitness goals and unleash your competitive spirit. 

Wills is one of the most outgoing people you’ll ever meet! His enthusiasm and love of sports is intoxicating, allowing him to thrive when instructing others. Wills has been managing and coaching softball teams of all ages for almost 10 years, focusing on fundamentals of the game and helping young athletes build life skills. As a father of four daughters, each involved in a different sport, he has had to expand his knowledge to wrestling, weightlifting and soccer. Although each sport requires a unique set of skills, his concept of learning and expanding on the fundamentals continues to be the core for achieving success.

Throughout recent years, he has also enhanced his skillset and became a certified personal trainer. This knowledge not only allows him to expand his coaching to include conditioning for youth but also help adults to achieve desired health and lifestyle goals.

Jordan has had a love of sports ever since he was a child, basketball being his first love, playing throughout his childhood and into college until he made the transition to become a collegiate official. During his free time, he continued to coach at the junior varsity and varsity levels for high school until having kids of his own and expanding his horizons into coaching other sports teams they became involved in. Since then, he has managed and coached youth volleyball, basketball, softball and baseball teams with kids from the age of 4 – 14. Focusing on three key factors – desire, dedication and drive, his track record speaks for itself. He has led his teams to multiple championships and two state championships. 

The key to his success has been the desire for continuous learning, keeping up on the latest trends and methodologies. As part of his learning, he also surrounds himself with experts in the field living by the philosophy that you’re as good as the people you surround yourself with.
